Main Street Advisory Board

Overview

The Main Street Advisory Board supports downtown redevelopment by advising the City Manager, Main Street Coordinator, and City Council on related policy matters. The board promotes participation in the Main Street program, sets and evaluates goals, coordinates activities, supports economic growth, oversees events and promotions, and assists in reporting progress. It also provides ongoing guidance and support for downtown revitalization efforts.

Board Membership

  • The board consists of seven members, appointed by the City Council.
  • Members serve two-year terms and may continue to serve until a successor is appointed. 
  • A member may not serve more than two consecutive terms without City Council approval.

Meeting Schedule

  • When: 4th Tuesday of the month at 9:00 a.m.
  • Where: City Hall Conference Room
  • Public Access: Meetings are open to the public and follow all requirements of the Texas Open Meetings Act.
