Overview
The Tourism Advisory Board advises the Tourism Marketing Manager, City Manager, and City Council on tourism-related policies and initiatives. Its responsibilities include recommending tourism programs and events, promoting public interest, assisting with fundraising and partnerships, and helping develop and maintain a tourism master plan for the City of Palestine.
Board Membership
- The board consists of seven members, appointed by the City Council.
- Members serve two-year terms and may continue to serve until a successor is appointed.
- Members of the board are composed of members whose interests include the local entertainment industry, the local retail industry, the hotel/motel industry, the local restaurant industry, the chamber of commerce, and the general public at large.

- When: 4th Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m.
- Where: City Hall Conference Room
- Public Access: Meetings are open to the public and follow all requirements of the Texas Open Meetings Act.
